Chalet Saphir combines alpine tradition and a sleek modern design. As one of three properties in the exclusive hamlet of Hameau des Plan, Saphir has 5 en-suite bedrooms accommodating up to 12 people.
The open plan living and dining area can be found on the middle floor of the chalet, ensuring the magnificent views across Chamonix and the surrounding mountains can be seen in the best way. This space has a large L-shaped sofa which surrounds the main feature; a glass-fronted fireplace. This combined with the high vaulted ceilings and warm lighting helps create a home from home atmosphere. From here you can access the wraparound balcony.
Guests staying in Chalet Saphir have access to two different dining areas, one in the kitchen, and the other in the centre of the room, taking advantage of the fantastic views. This allows children to eat separately from the adults. The kitchen comprises of everything needed for a self-catered stay in Chamonix, including two ovens. For warmer evenings, take advantage of the alfresco covered outdoor table and chairs on the balcony.
For those groups looking for a chalet with outdoor space, Chalet Saphir is a great option. In addition to the outdoor cedar hot tub, there is a spacious south-facing sun terrace with panoramic views. This is the perfect place to relax, sunbathe and enjoy the afternoon sun. For extra relaxation, there is also a sauna.
Across five bedrooms and three floors, Chalet Saphir can sleep up to 12 people. The ground floor consists of four en-suite double bedrooms with direct access to the outdoor terrace where the hot tub is situated. The mezzanine floor has an additional bedroom with four single beds and an en-suite shower room. Each bedroom has air conditioning installed should it be needed.
For convenience, there is an elevator for access between each of the floors.
Chalet Saphir can be taken with Chalet Alaska and Chalet Azurite to create Le Hameau des Plans, with space to sleep up to 41 guests.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and is offered on a self catered basis with daily housekeeping.
When fully catered, prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for 12 guests and is offered with full gourmet catering, complimentary drinks selection and daily housekeeping. Smaller group discounts apply.

Chalet Saphir, a property within the exclusive hamlet of Hameau des Plan. Although located in a quiet area with stunning panoramic views of the Mont Blanc Massif, Chamonix Centre is just a short 3 minute stroll from the chalet, meaning you have a variety of shops, restaurants and bars at your fingertips.
Just a minute walk away from the chalet is the Clos du Savoy road which leads you to the Brévent gondola station where you are able to connect into the hiking trails or take the lift up to enjoy the activities and paths at altitude.

When taken fully catered, a quality chef and host will be provided, so your group can enjoy a luxurious catered break to include daily breakfasts and afternoon tea, followed by canapés and a 4-course dinner, on 6 evenings.
If you don't wish to utilise the fully catered package, several additional services are available, alongside the self-catered stay, for your enhanced comfort. The following list highlights the additional services available. Please note, all prices are approximate and are subject to change.
Breakfast service: from €35/person per day. (Minimum 6 guests)
​Evening meal with Private chef : From €390 for up to 12 guests. Food and drink charged at cost in addition. Chalet hosts are available to help with setting up/ clearing the table, and serving food and drinks. Chalet hosts are required for groups of more than 6 guests at €35/h.
Informal Catering Package: If you are looking for a more laid back approach to a catered chalet holiday in the Alps, then this heartfelt package could be more suited to your needs. Daily continental buffet laid out, 3-course meals served on 4 evenings (buffet style or on family sharing serving platters), wine with dinner and daily housekeeping will be included. €595 per person per week.
Additional Housekeeping: €35/h. Min 3h for 3-4 bedroom chalets, min 4h for 5-6 bedroom chalets.
​Bedlinen changes: €40/person. Ironing services: €35/h.
Driver Service: To maximise your stay, why not add on a driver service to help you get about during your trip. There are various options available, whether you are looking for a private driver on stand-by or one or two drop-offs per day at set times. It's also possible to simply request evening transport to and from your chosen restaurants. Airport transfers can also be arranged. Prices on request, please enquire.
