Where did Singletrail Verbier all begin?<\/a><\/h2>\n

Biking was a long passion of our founder Andras. He raced for more than 15 years in various mountain biking disciplines including downhill, 4X, dual slalom and enduro with good results both national and international level, and numerous podiums. After working here in winter as a ski instructor, the mountain bike guiding and coaching followed naturally.<\/p>\n

Is the biking in Verbier accessible to all?<\/h2>\n

Yes, we believe that Singletrail<\/a> lessons are suitable to all. There are plenty of trails from beginner to advanced level. Our instructors are trained to work with children or even coach professional mountain bikers.<\/p>\n

We recommend private guiding to those who are new to the area and would like to explore the trails with local guides. We offer family tours that suit even the smallest family members, with focus on local culture and mountains.<\/p>\n

For those who wish to develop their bike skills further we offer Singletrail Coaching Clinics<\/a>. From newbies building their confidence to an\u00a0intermediate wanting to learn to jump or master technical trails, or an\u00a0advanced rider looking to refine their skill set\u00a0and progress further, Singletrail’s enduro and downhill coaches have the right skillset to take your riding to the next level.<\/p>\n

Do you have a favourite bike trail in Verbier ?<\/h2>\n

Perhaps Gentianes \u2013 Dahu \u2013 Le Chable trail network. The trail starts at the bottom of Mont Fort glacier at 2,900m. Most of the summer months you can make a snowball, and there is a good chance you will spot a group of chamois and marmottes on the way down to Dahu too. Dahu is a high alpine pasture, where you will ride past herds of H\u00e9rens cows (an ancient cow breed that can be found only in this unique corner of Switzerland), beautiful springs and small natural lakes.<\/p>\n

You can also refresh yourself at Cabane Mont-Fort<\/a> and treat yourself with a traditional Valaisian plate and enjoy majestic views of surrounding 4,000m high glaciers massifs. Riding down from Dahu, the trail will lead you through pastures, hidden 100-year-old alpine villages and pine forests.<\/p>\n

There are plenty of trail combinations to pick from that take you down to the valley and which run right next to each other from easy to expert.<\/p>\n

E-bikes are really popular at the moment, what makes them so great?<\/h2>\n

We recommend e-bikes to those who would like to explore more, pedal further and ride higher. The e-bikes instantly give you an endurance of a pro athlete. One of our clients, who in his 70’s, has said that he feels like he is 30 again, and that he would have never been able to go for a 60km mountain biking tour without an e-bike, so that’s a major plus!<\/p>\n

Looking at extreme, what is there to offer in Verbier for advanced mountain bikers?<\/h2>\n

Verbier has the largest mountain biking area in Switzerland and one of the biggest in the Alps.\u00a0With an extensive network of red and black, both downhill and\u00a0enduro trails, Verbier is a true extreme mountain biking mecca.\u00a0The same mountains that draw the free-ride skiers in the winter make the resort an alpine gem worth visiting year round.<\/p>\n

Is there a favourite lunch spot on the mountain that you stop in?<\/h2>\n

Perhaps the La Marmotte<\/a>. It\u2019s easily accessible by mountain bikers of all levels, and their R\u00f6stis are heavenly.<\/p>\n
