Chalet Big Bear is a luxury chalet in Argentière where a traditional alpine charm meets with luxury contemporary furnishings in a delightful home for 10-11 guests. The chalet benefits from a spacious south-facing terrace with hot tub, that extends into a garden area, perfect for your luxury summer holiday to the Chamonix valley.

The first floor of Chalet Big Bear plays host to the main living area. An open-plan space of stylish wooden interiors houses the main lounge, kitchen and dining spaces. A traditional stone fireplace sits as the focal point of the plush modern sofas of the lounge, which extends back into the dining area, where the ceiling rises to double height. A skylight above the dining table, and floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors along the lounge flood the space with natural light due to the chalet's south west-facing exposure. The kitchen is smart and modern, with ample space for guests to prepare delicious meals.

The main living floor grants access to a chalet-spanning balcony, where you can enjoy gorgeous views of the iconic Mont Blanc and Les Grand Montets glacier. From the ground floor, the true highlight of this luxury summer chalet in Argentière can be appreciated. An expansive sun terrace expands into a garden space, perfect for a lazy afternoon after a morning of exploring the mountains.

Out on this terrace, you will also be delighted by the sunken Jacuzzi hot tub, allowing you to soak in the soothing bubbles well into the night. Additional wellness facilities can be found inside the chalet in the form of a sauna, should you want for another way to ease your tired muscles after a long day of hiking in the Mont Blanc region.

Separate to the main living area on Chalet Big Bear's first floor, you'll find a stately chalet study, where you can immerse yourself in a good book by the warmth of the fireplace, double-sided from the main lounge. There is also a cosy TV room where you can escape into a world of movies, and the chalet also has a piano for any skilled pianists.

Chalet Big Bear contains five bedrooms in total, with space for up to 11 guests overall. The bedrooms offer respite in a traditional chalet style, dignified and characterful. All the bedrooms are double rooms, with one of the ground floor bedrooms including an overhead single bunk bed, which brings the chalet capacity from 10 to 11. The impressive Master suite sits on the top floor, where a vaulted ceiling and expansive windows giving the room an airy feel. Each bedroom comes with a stylish en-suite bathroom.

There is private parking and laundry facilities available for guest use when staying at Chalet Big Bear.

For larger groups of 35-40 guests, Chalet Big Bear can be rented in conjunction with the neighbouring sister properties of Chalet Zenith 1 and Chalet Zenith 2.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a self-catered basis only.

The chalet can be booked to include a fully catered service with daily breakfast, afternoon tea, fine dining 4-course dinner (on 5 nights) and in-resort driver's service.
