The Property

Located within the tranquil area of Les Bois, Chalet Black Squirrel is a modern and spacious luxury chalet, ideal for a family or group of friends looking to relax and switch off during their luxury summer holiday in Chamonix. The property can accommodate up to 12 guests over four levels, offering a 180° view of the Dru, the Aiguille du Midi, Mont Blanc and Flégère.

Upon entering the chalet, you will be welcomed in a bright and spacious open-plan living area, where floor to ceiling windows flood the space with natural light. Here, wooden beam ceiling recall the classic chalet structure and is elegantly blended with a contemporary finish and modern furnishings. A comfortable L-shaped sofa and a fireplace creates the ideal place where to come back to at the end of a busy day of summer activities in Chamonix.

To the other side of the living area, a classy dining space and a fully-equipped modern kitchen await. Any budding cook will enjoy the open-plan kitchen and should find all they need to prepare a quality home-cooked meal. With a raised bar area, there's a suitable spot for you to enjoy an apéritif. Alternatively, leading outside through the large patio doors, you step out onto the south-facing balcony. With an alfresco dining set up, you can enjoy meals with the whole group, appreciating the warm summer weather and beautiful surroundings.

On the lower level, you can also find the chalet's impressive gardens. Large lawn areas provide the kids plenty of space to play and run around. For a moment of calm, then nothing will be more tempting than the outdoor hot tub. It's just perfect after a long hike or day of rock climbing!

Back inside, Chalet Black Squirrel features a great selection of rejuvenating wellness facilities to ensure you fully unwind on your luxury summer holiday in Chamonix. Refresh yourself in the indoor swimming pool with jet stream, or relax in the sauna after a long day. Alternatively, guests can take part in a spot of yoga or a spin class by streaming their preferred class on the in-mirror TV.

For cosy evenings in, head towards the cinema room featuring a drop-down large screen and projector, perfect to continue watching your favourite series. As you chill out, take a drink from the nearby bar, with surround sound too, it really is the perfect entertainment space. For quieter moments or if you need time to catch up with work emails, a mezzanine area provides the ideal office space.

Chalet Black Squirrel provides 5 en-suite bedrooms, characterised by a similar modern alpine design and split between the ground and first floor. The property features four double bedrooms, two of which can also be organised as twins. There is also a bunk bedroom, sleeping 4 children, ideal for a family planning their luxury summer holiday in Chamonix.

For self-driving guests, the property provides a covered and secure parking space for 3 cars. For extra convenience, guests will find a bike storage, laundry facilities and an internal lift.

For larger groups, Chalet Black Squirrel can be booked in conjunction with the opposite Chalet Black Stone, which can each sleep up to 10 guests. When taken together, the two properties can accommodate 22 guests in total, among 10 bedrooms.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis with mid-week housekeeping.

Please Note: The swimming pool and spa area are both available throughout May and June. However, from July onwards, these facilities will not be useable as the swimming pool is being replaced with gym facilities. These gym facilities will also not be available before the end of this summer season.
