The Property

Located within the tranquil area of Les Bois, Chalet Black Squirrel in Chamonix is a modern and spacious luxury chalet, ideal for a family or group of friends looking to relax and switch off. The property can accommodate 10-12 guests over four levels, offering a 180° view of the Dru, the Aiguille du Midi, Mont Blanc and Flégère.

Chalet Black Squirrel open-plan living area is bright and spacious, thanks to floor to ceiling windows that flood the room with natural light. Here, wooden beam ceilings recall the classic chalet structure and are elegantly blended with a contemporary finish and modern furnishings. A comfortable L-shaped sofa and a fireplace creates the ideal place where to come back to at the end of a busy day of summer activities in Chamonix. To the other side of the living area, a classy dining space and a fully-equipped modern kitchen await. Any budding cook will enjoy the open-plan kitchen and should find all they need to prepare a quality home-cooked meal. With a raised bar, there's a suitable spot for you to enjoy an apéritif. Alternatively, leading outside through the large patio doors, you step out onto the south-facing balcony. With an alfresco dining set up, it's perfect for meals appreciating the warm summer weather and beautiful surroundings.

On the lower level, you can also find the chalet's impressive gardens. Large lawn areas provide the kids plenty of space to play and run around. For moments of calm, then nothing will be more tempting than the outdoor hot tub. Back inside, Chalet Black Squirrel features a great selection of rejuvenating wellness facilities to fully unwind on a Chamonix summer holiday. Refresh yourself in the indoor swimming pool, with jet streams, or relax in the sauna. Alternatively, guests can take part in a spot of yoga or fitness routine using the gym facilities and in-mirror TV. The ice bath will be sure to provide the recovery needed for after your workout!

For cosy evenings in, head towards the cinema room featuring a drop-down large screen and projector, perfect for watching your favourite series. As you chill out, take a drink from the nearby bar, with surround sound too, it really is the perfect entertainment space. For quieter moments or if you need time to catch up with work emails, a mezzanine area, under the eaves of the property, gives an ideal office space.

Split between the ground and first floors, Chalet Black Squirrel provides 5 en-suite bedrooms, characterised by a similar modern alpine design. The property features four double bedrooms, two of which can also be organised as twins, for flexible sleeping arrangements. There is also a bunk bedroom, sleeping 4 children, ideal for family holidays in the French Alps.

For self-driving guests, there is parking in both the garage and in a driveway, with space for up to 4 cars overall. For extra convenience, guests will find boot and bike storage, laundry facilities and an internal lift.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for 10 adults and is offered on a self catered basis. Up to 2 additional guests can be accommodated at a supplement. Smaller groups and child discounts apply.
