The Property

Chalet Le Ruisseau can sleep up to 14 guests across 6 bedrooms and welcomes groups of friends and families alike. The owner's of Chalet Le Ruisseau have an eye for boutique-style design and so have incorporated their personality into the property through the eye-catching paintings, reclaimed doors and ladders from original mountain barns.

The ground floor of the chalet consists of a spacious lounge with a number of handmade furniture pieces and other rustic features in keeping with the traditional theme. Within the room there is ample seating for everyone to relax, including a selection of sofas and armchairs. The stone fireplace with an old-fashioned chimney is centrally located and a prominent feature in the chalet.

Separating the living room from the dining room, is a sizeable farmhouse door. When walking through this door, you will be greeted with a large rustic farm table which can seat 14 guests and a fully equipped kitchen with modern touches.

On the ground floor of Le Ruisseau, there is access to an outdoor south-west facing terrace with remarkable mountain views. This space is complimented by the teak dining furniture and gas BBQ with hot plate, where alfresco dining can be enjoyed whilst the sun shines down. To the bottom of the garden, a wooden bridge crosses over the meandering stream that gives the property its name.

Also, outside is a log cabin with a Scandinavian fire-pit, and 6-person sauna, ideal for chillier evenings. Continuing the wellness back inside, you will come across a sunken hot tub with surrounding windows, providing brilliant views up at the mountains and nearby greenery.

Across six individually-styled bedrooms, Chalet Le Ruisseau can sleep up to 14 guests. On the first floor of the chalet there are 4 en-suite bedrooms, all of these can be arranged as either a twin or double bedroom, offering great flexibility. Up in the eaves there are a further 2 bedrooms, both with a maximum head height of 1.85 m, ideal for children. This space also has a chill-out area with sofa, bean bags and flat-screen TV.

Chalet Le Ruisseau is located within a Hamlet of three chalets, sitting at the top of the road in close proximity with L'Ecume de Neiges and Chalet L'Abreuvoir, which respectively sleep 10 and 14 guests. On request, the three property can be taken together to accommodate larger groups. Please enquire if this is required for your booking.

For added convenience, Chalet Le Ruisseau has laundry facilities and a lift for all floors. In addition, there is a garage which is shared with guests from other chalets in the Hamlet, L'Ecume des Neiges and Chalet L'Abreuvoir.

Prices are for exclusive use of the chalet for up to 14 guests on a self catered basis.
