First finding life as a traditional Savoyard farmhouse in 1842, the luxurious Ferme du Lac Vert now provides stunning accommodation for 24 in 10 bedrooms. Featuring antique furnishings, rich history and modern luxury facilities, this luxury boutique chalet in Morzine welcomes all types of guests, whether you wish to take the chalet on an exclusive accommodation basis or just rent out a room for a romantic getaway. The size and location also make this a fantastic option for corporate retreats.
The living areas of Ferme du Lac Vert are found on the top floor of the chalet. Here the chalet takes full advantage of its converted farmhouse status, where cavernous ceilings, exposed beams, natural light bestowed by the many skylights and a vast collection of charming curios help to form an open-plan living space that will take your breath away. A classic stone fireplace provides soothing warmth to the lounge, with plenty of sofas and comfortable stools around to encourage socialising. The dining area can be closed off with sliding glass doors, where a long dining table running from the kitchen and bar to the other end of the chalet is sure to be the setting for some animated feasts. A separate TV lounge on this floor can also be found, with rocking horse adding delightful character.
The outdoor areas of Ferme du Lac Vert are beyond impressive, all providing stunning views of the surrounding mountains. A chalet-spanning balcony on the top floor gives a good vantage point to admire the village from. On the first floor you will find a spa terrace containing a barrel sauna and outdoor hot tub. Guests will have use of these pleasing wellness facilities when taking the chalet on an exclusive occupancy basis. There is a patio and garden area outside the chalet where the tranquil nature of the Alps in summer can be truly appreciated.
There are 10 bedrooms to Ferme du Lac Vert, each with an en-suite bath or shower room. Every room is at least a double or twin, with many having extra single beds, to increase capacity above 24 guests if required. The bedrooms all come with their own unique charm; from quaint, alpine styles to antique beds and even a beautiful Indonesian four-poster bed in a Buddhism-inspired suite. Most of the rooms are named for the mountains they look out upon meaning you are guaranteed unbeatable views when staying at Ferme du Lac Vert.
For larger groups, where required, it is possible to increase Ferme du Lac Vert's main house to 12 bedrooms. This chalet can also be taken with nearby, additional chalet, La Petite Ferme, which has 3 bedrooms to accommodate a further 6 guests.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 24 people on a self-catered basis. Additional guests can be accommodated, please enquire for a bespoke quote. The chalet can also be rented on a shared basis for certain weeks, with daily continental breakfast included.
Please note, during the summer months the sauna and hot tub are only available to guests taking exclusive occupancy of the chalet.
Ferme du Lac Vert is located on a small hamlet in Montriond village on the edge of Morzine. It has easy access into Portes du Soleil summer lift system with the Super Morzine and Pleney gondola a short distance away for access to mountain biking and hiking trails. The property has spectacular views over Nantaux mountain, Morzine & the Dranse valley, with Lake Montriond a 4-5 minute drive from chalet for summer activities and access to further trails.

Please note that in the Summer, the sauna and hot tub is only available on an exclusive occupancy basis. Included within your self-catered service, is a mid-week towel change. Linen, towels, bathrobes, slippers and toiletries are also provided, as well as firewood for those chillier summer evenings.
