Chalet 1850 in Val d'Isère is a sumptuous offering for a group of family and friends on a luxury summer holiday to the French Alps. A solid location not far from the centre of resort, a stylish modern design that expertly integrates traditional chalet materials and a pleasing wellness area all feature in this delightful chalet that can sleep up to 8 adults and 4 children.
The top floor of Chalet 1850's three levels is dedicated entirely to living spaces. The floor is completely open-plan, allowing for a natural, free-flowing space that functions as your lounge, dining and kitchen areas. Plush, neutral-coloured sofa seating offers plenty of relaxation space in the lounge, with a traditional corner fireplace of stone and wood fostering a homely ambience for evenings spent together. Large exposed wooden beams rise to the tall, vaulted ceiling, which helps to open up the space, along with the surrounding picture windows. Stylish modern lighting hangs above the dining table, seating up to 10 guests between its seats and banquette bench. Meanwhile, the kitchen behind offers more than enough space and appliances for preparations of delicious home-cooked meals. Leading off the lounge, guests have access to a balcony, providing pleasant views of the picturesque village and surrounding mountain peaks.
Chalet 1850's middle floor is home to its intimate, elegant wellness space. A spacious sauna and the relaxing bubbles of an indoor Jacuzzi hot tub are a welcome luxury, with comfortable loungers and a refreshing wellness shower on hand between spa treatments.
Spread between the ground and first floors, Chalet 1850 houses four double bedrooms and a cosy children's bunk bedroom, in order to welcome up to 8 adults and 4 children. The bedrooms are calming and inviting, with interiors wrapped in natural wood and sumptuous bedding that makes for a restful night's sleep. Each bedroom features a private shower or bathroom, with one room granting access to a private balcony.
There are two parking spaces for guests of Chalet 1850, one outside and one in the property's shared garage. The chalet also contains a boot room.
Chalet 1850 can be taken alongside Chalet 1855, with which it shares a garage, for larger family summer holidays to Val d'Isère of up to 16 adults and 8 children.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 guests on a self catered basis to include daily housekeeping and mid-week towel change.
The chalet is also available on a catered basis to include full gourmet catering, selected complimentary drinks and in-resort chauffeur service.
Please Note: There are buildings under construction in the plots neighbouring Chalet 1850.
Chalet 1850 occupies a great location in Val d'Isère, just a short distance from the centre of town and the resort's main lift hub.
The centre of the resort is a 12-minute walk away, where you will find a number of places to eat, drink and shop while on your luxury summer holiday in Val d'Isère.
A 12-minute walk will also bring you from the chalet to the main Olympique Cable Car and Solaise gondola lifts. As well as giving access to a variety of hiking and biking trails, the latter gondola also brings you to the Lac de l'Ouilliette, a fishing lake at the top of the mountain. The Centre Aquasportif Val d'Isère is located by these bottom lifts stations, with sports, spa and entertainment activities for the whole family.

On 6 evenings dinner is provided, a bespoke menu tailored to your group's preferences, dietary requirements and wishes. The excellent chef team will use locally sourced, seasonal produce, paired with European wine selections, for a holiday menu of your choosing.
When taken fully catered, this luxury alpine chalet comes with a dedicated driver service in a 4x4 vehicle. Running from 8am to 1am, this chauffeur service makes it easy to explore all that the fabulous resort has to offer.
The pre-arrival concierge service is there to help organise activities, restaurant bookings both on the mountain and in resort, setting you up for the week with all your essentials, and generally helping organise your holiday to be as hassle-free and straightforward as possible. Once in resort, you will be welcomed to your chalet by a personal concierge. They have expert knowledge of the chalet and resort, ready to provide you with any help you need during your holiday.
