Haus Leytron's spacious open-plan living area, occupying the majority of the ground floor, showcase class and sophisticated luxury alpine living. The stylish sofa lounge offers a great spot to give your feet a rest from days' walking in the mountains, in front of the TV and fireplace, for those chillier evenings during summer. There is a piano also found in this space, for any musically talented guests to set the afternoon's ambience. The lounge area further opens out into a dining space, with a smart modern kitchen and family style dining table found on the other side of this floor, suitable for those homemade meals inside the chalet on your holiday.
Across the ground floor of Haus Leytron, there are an abundance of large windows featuring, that also flood the space with natural light, as well as framing the beautiful village of Zermatt, with the dramatic Matterhorn in the backdrop. Leading out of these, guests can step onto a large, wrap-around south-facing balcony for a closer look, perfect for watching the sunset over the mountains or starting your days with an alfresco coffee.
In a space separate to the apartment, but in the same building, guests can make use of the spa area with a sauna and an indoor hot tub. Perfect after a day exploring Zermatt in summer, these facilities are private to the apartment of Haus Leytron and offer a welcome relaxation to soak any aching muscles.
Sleeping up to 10 guests, the majority of Haus Leytron's bedrooms are located on the top floor. The deluxe master bedroom oozes comfort and space, decorated in a beautiful dark wooden decor and fitted with luxury furnishings, complete with balcony access and an en-suite bathroom. There are two further double/twin bedrooms found on the top floor, one of which benefits from an en-suite shower room and the other a separate bathroom, yet both take advantage of balcony access. Perfect for those family summer holidays in Zermatt, the remaining bedroom is a light children's style quad bunk bedroom, complete with four bunk beds and a separate shower room, for any little members of the group on the ground floor.
Haus Leytron's guests can also benefit from shared access to a locker and shared laundry facilities, in the apartment's building, during their stay. There is also desk space in the apartment, ideal for any guests needing to work on their summer holiday in Zermatt.
Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a self-catered basis to include a daily housekeeping service, and a complimentary in-resort taxi to/from the property on arrival and departure day.

Haus Leytron is an exceptional duplex apartment, located in the exclusive 'Petit Village' area of Zermatt, and can be accessed by a 24-hour funicular, accessed via a lift just a short distance from the apartment building. This part of Zermatt has an abundance of hiking and biking trails surrounding the property, for you to explore the resort in summer, and offers beautiful views across the village and the iconic Matterhorn. The Sunegga lift station is just a 12-minute walk or 3-minute taxi ride, taking you to higher altitudes and the start of many trails.
The very centre of Zermatt is approximately 17 minutes on foot from Haus Leytron. Alternatively, take the funicular down and from there, it is a relatively flat and easy walk (taking approximately 10 minutes) to the centre of resort. There is a bus stop found 100 metres away from the bottom of the funicular, for easier access around resort. In the centre, guests will be able to enjoy a selection of gourmet bars and restaurants, local shops, cafés and plenty of things to do in Zermatt in summer, including the Matterhorn Museum.
There is also a Matterhorn viewpoint found less than 300m away from Haus Leytron, perfect for a photo opportunity of the iconic Swiss mountain.
