The Property

Chalet Rivendell is an exclusive chalet within walking distance of Chamonix centre. The chalet can sleep up to 12 people, but there is a separate mazot in the garden with space to sleep an additional 2 guests.

The open plan living and dining area is situated on the middle floor of Chalet Rivendell to ensure that the views of Mont Blanc are best seen. Behind the sofas are multiple large windows ensuring the chalet is bright and airy. There are also wooden beams and a large open fireplace to keep the theme of alpine tradition. From this floor you can access the wrap-around balcony which has a number of outdoor sofas, the perfect spot for relaxing whilst the sun shines.

The main dining room table is located in the living area, whilst opposite this space is the kitchen and a second dining room table. This allows larger groups to dine separately some nights if preferred. The kitchen is fully equipped with a professional oven, double fridge, dishwasher and other facilities that may be required. Here you'll find another fireplace in case the evenings get chilly.

Outside there is a large alpine garden with a private patio area and BBQ, perfect for alfresco dining or a game of football. In addition, Chalet Rivendell has a children's play area and outdoor hot tub with stunning mountain views. For extra enjoyment, Chalet Rivendell has a sauna with adjoining shower, TV room and children's play room. There really is something for everyone!

Across three floors, Chalet Rivendell has space to accommodate up to 12 guests in 6 bedrooms. The master bedroom covers the whole of the top floor and has its own private fireplace, bubble bath, steam shower and sun terrace. Across the ground and middle floor there are a further 5 bedrooms, 4 of which have their own en-suite. 3 of these can also be split into twin rooms if required and one has a bunk bed (sleeps 2) and a sofa bed (sleeps 2).

Chalet Rivendell has an exterior mazot which can be added for an additional charge. Here there is a a double bed, sofa area, kitchenette and shower room.

For added convenience, Chalet Rivendell has parking for up to 6 cars and a ski room with boot warmers.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 12 people on a self-catered basis with end of stay cleaning. An additional 2 people can be accommodated in the mazot for an additional €500.
