The Property

Chalet Rubicon is a gorgeous family-friendly summer chalet of 300m², and is located in Les Houches, in the Chamonix Valley. The chalet can sleep up to 18 guests in seven bedrooms which are spaced over three floors. It has a great location with bars and restaurants nearby, plus a patisserie just a minute's walk away.

The main living area of the chalet is the vibrant and spacious lounge, with two separate seating areas and a lovely real wood fire. The terrace and garden can be accessed through the large patio doors from here, where you'll find plenty of comfy seating and a lovely alfresco dining deck.

The dining area, with its huge wooden table, can seat up to 20 people making this a great entertaining space for dinner parties. Alongside is the main kitchen, with everything required to whip up hearty breakfasts and family meals. With a large island and breakfast bar from where you can take in the stunning views of the Mont Blanc Massif, this is a convivial space to enjoy. There is a second, smaller kitchen on the ground floor, similarly well equipped.

Chalet Rubicon has a large outdoor hot tub situated on a good sized terrace. On the terrace there is a BBQ and seating from where you can enjoy some late evening drinks watching the sun set behind the peaks. For those who like a sauna this can be found inside the chalet where you can relax and ease any aching muscles.

The chalet comprises of seven bedrooms, six of which can be set up as either twin beds or a double. There is also a bunk room sleeping four guests, in two adult sized bunk beds. Five of the twin/double rooms are en-suite whilst one shares a bathroom with the bunk room, making these rooms an ideal little family suite. One of the twin/double bedrooms has a mezzanine which can be accessed by a steep ladder. The mezzanine with its low ceiling, is best suited for accommodating two children. Each of the bedrooms is individually decorated and some have access to either a terrace or balcony.

For those guests who are into their music they will not be disappointed as the chalet is fitted with the latest technology including a Sonos sound system.

There is a laundry with washing machine and tumble drier and there is plenty parking in the chalet's driveway.

Prices are based on exclusive use of the chalet on a self-catered basis. Additional services are available on request.
