Apartment Chez Germain is located on the two upper levels of Chalet La Douceur, a stand-alone chalet renovated from an old converted farmhouse in the exclusive French resort of La Clusaz. Spanning 250m², the property carefully blends comfortable home living with a traditional Alpine chalet-style. Accommodating for groups of up to 14 guests, in flexible sleeping arrangements, Apartment Chez Germain is well-suited to a range of group configurations and those looking for affordable luxury on their summer holiday in the French Alps.

Organised over two floors, Apartment Chez Germain's first level is home to the main living space in the property. Open-plan in design, guests will find everything needed for a self-catered stay here, complete with a snug TV sofa corner, open kitchen and a long dining table for mealtimes. Alpine touches and decoration, such as the hanging antler chandelier and exposed stone fireplace, add to the authentic charm felt throughout this floor. The real stand-out of the property, and perfect for your summer getaway, is Apartment Chez Germain's balcony areas. South-facing, these outdoor spots are perfect for alfresco dining whilst absorbing beautiful mountain views of the Aravis Valley. A second sofa lounge area can also be found on the apartment's second level, leading out to another terrace area to further appreciate your surroundings.

Apartment Chez Germain's outdoor barrel sauna invites guests to relax on their summer holiday in La Clusaz. Perfect for after a long hike or bike ride in the mountains, soothe any tired legs whilst capturing the picturesque background through the barrel's fish eye lens window.

Sleeping up to 14 guests, Apartment Chez Germain's 6 bedrooms are split between both levels of the property. The rooms all stick firmly to the Savoyard feel of the property, with lots of exposed wood and a neutral colour pallet. On the first floor, you will find three en-suite double bedrooms, one of which can also be arranged as twin. The second level offers three first bedrooms which includes a master double bedroom with access onto the balcony, a dressing room and en-suite. There is a further double bedroom with additional single bed in its own private nook, and the room has a private bathroom across the landing. The final bedroom is ideally set up for three children, with 3 single beds in their own cubbyholes and an en-suite.

Apartment Chez Germain, is one of two private accommodations making up Chalet La Douceur. When taken together as a whole property, Apartment Chez Germain and its smaller counterpart, Apartment Chez Joseph can sleep up to 20 guests in total across 9 bedrooms.

The two properties share a garage with two car parking spaces each, as well as a boot storage room and laundry facilities.

Prices are based on the exclusive use of the property for up to 14 guests and is offered on a self-catered basis only.
